Mädchen Amick

Mädchen Amick is an Actress / Producer / Director / Writer who moved to the bright lights of Hollywood at the age of 16, to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Shortly thereafter, director David Lynch, who ended up playing a pivotal role in her career and became her mentor, cast her in the TV cult classic Twin Peaks. She was cast as Shelley Johnson, a role developed specifically for her. Many successful roles later, Madchen is now playing the role of feisty Alice Smith on The CW’s drama television series, Riverdale.
Close to her heart is her mental health advocacy work around the globe. She’s worked closely with premiere organizations over the years such as NAMI, SAMHSA, The David Lynch Foundation and The Creative Coalition – to which she just lobbied for at Capitol Hill – as well as being the first global ambassador for Bring Change to Mind, a non-profit spearheaded by Academy Award winner Glenn Close. Although she’s enjoyed helping to break the stigma surrounding mental illness, it just wasn’t enough for her and her family who have been directly impacted by the inadequacies of our existing health care support services. Just this year they launched a nonprofit direct-impact mental health foundation, don’t MiND me, that will take immediate action to match people in need to essential treatment services.

Mina Tobias

Mina Tobias, the daughter of actress Mädchen Amick (Twin Peaks, Riverdale) and musician/producer David Alexis (Sly and the Family Stone, Mtume),is the co-founder of the mental health foundation don’t MiND me, and co-host of the mental health podcast by the same name, both created as a collaborative effort by Mina and her family to help end the stigma around mental illness and implement direct impact for those most urgently in need of health care.

Claire Clottey

Claire Clottey is a multi award winning broadcast journalist renowned for amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities and increasing their visibility through the production of digital, radio, audio and written content.

Born and raised in the UK, Claire identifies as a Black British Ghanaian Londoner with Caribbean cousins (but not always in that order). Married to a Black American man Claire has set to embrace another cultural identity as she relocates to the US and closes the gap on her 5 year and 5217 mile long distance relationship.

Follow Claire Clottey on her journey as she jumps on the train of other Black Brits living (or attempting) to live the American Dream.
